- 1967 American Bacteriological and Chemical Research Company founded by Dr. William Brown in Gainesville, FL.

- 1975 First annual American Bacteriological and Chemical Research Seminar
- 1978 USDA Coordinated study of The Fate of Salmonella Inoculated into Beef for Cooking published in the Journal of Food Protection.
- 1981 American Bacteriological and Chemical Company becomes ABC Research Corporation.
- 1981 Received the Food Processing Award for our unique starter culture.
- 1981 Completed construction of ABC Research Pilot Plant.
- 1982 First project completed by the Microbiology Research Department.
- 1985 First independent 3rd party HACCP Audit by ABC Research Corporation.
- 1987 ABC Research Corporation develops antibodies for the detection of Poultry and Pork in cooked meat products according to USDA-FSIS Cooked Meat Species ELISA protocols.
- 1988 Developed antibodies for the detection of Beef and Deer in cooked meat products and achieved USDA-FSIS recognition.
- 1990 ABC Research begins use of LIMS.
- 1992 ABC Research has record employment numbers.
- 1998 First ABC Research Corporation website.
- 1999 ABC Research acquires new building for Chemistry Department expansion.
- 2001 ISO 17025 certified in Microbiology and Chemistry
- 2001 Upgrade LIMS to online web-based application for client access.
- 2004 ABC Research offers Trained Taste Panel capabilities.
- 2005 Remodeled Microbiology Department.
- 2005 50th year Institute of Food Technologists Member – Dr. Brown
- 2011 ABC Research Corporation becomes ABC Research Laboratories
