Inside Sales – Italia Swiss

The abcr GmbH is an internationally operating company specializing in fine chemicals and research chemicals. With a broad product portfolio, abcr supplies customers from industry, research, and academia worldwide. Sales plays a key role in supporting international customers, developing long-term business relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.

To support our international sales team, we are looking for a dedicated Inside Sales for the Italian and Swiss markets.

Location: Karlsruhe / Full-time / Starting January 1, 2027

Your Responsibilities

  • You will handle organizational and administrative tasks in the daily business operations.
  • You will coordinate internal processes, appointments, and meetings.
  • You will support communication with customers and internal departments.
  • You will ensure structured organization and smooth day-to-day team operations.
  • You will maintain and further develop customer relationships within your region.
  • You will coordinate cooperation with distribution partners and support customer management activities.
  • You will prepare and update quotations, price lists, and other sales-related documents.
  • You will support the entire sales process from initial inquiry through to successful order completion.
  • You will plan and organize customer visits as well as participation in trade fairs and events.
  • You will professionally represent the company at customer meetings, partner visits, and industry events.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and the field sales force.
  • You will maintain customer and sales data accurately within internal systems.

Your Qualifications

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or possess a comparable qualification.
  • You ideally have initial professional experience in inside sales, customer service, or international sales.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and Italian skills, as well as good written and spoken English skills.
  • You are well organized, work in a structured manner, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You possess strong communication skills and a confident, professional appearance.
  • You have a strong customer and service-oriented mindset.
  • You are experienced in working with international customers and distributors or are willing to develop expertise in this area.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems such as NAV is an advantage.
  • You are a team player and enjoy working closely with internal departments and field sales colleagues.
  • You possess strong organizational skills in planning appointments, customer visits, and events.
  • You are willing to occasionally travel for business and attend trade fairs.
  • You work carefully, reliably, and independently.
  • You are committed, solution-oriented, and show initiative.
