Product Manager (f/m/x) – Chemistry
Location: Karlsruhe, full-time

Your tasks

  • Maintaining and updating product data in the abcr catalog
  • Creating offers for catalog items
  • Conducting competition analyses
  • Conducting research in online databases (SciFinder, Discoverygate, DWCP)
  • Participating in data exchange with customers and suppliers
  • Optimization of the internal product databases, the ERP system (Microsoft Navision) and the business analysis tool
  • Participation in the strategic alignment of the product portfolio and pricing
  • Involvement in the creation of flyers and brochures for trade fairs or similar
  • Collaboration in cross-team projects

Your qualifications

  • You have a degree in natural sciences with a specialization in chemistry or business administration and an affinity for IT or you have completed an apprenticeship as a computer scientist (m/f/x) and would like to work in the field of natural sciences
  • You enjoy working with large amounts of chemical data and already have experience in comparing chemical data
  • You are familiar with the common chemistry online databases and have been able to gain initial experience with them.
  • You have knowledge of SQL databases and Microsoft Office, as well as experience in working with an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Navision.
  • You have good to very good English skills, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • You are a team player, reliable and willing to work hard.
