Heterocycles

This novel building blocks can be used as hinge binders required for kinase ATP-pocket inhibitors. These hinge binders were designed carefully so that they can form one to three hydrogen bonds to the hinge. They contain one to multiple functional groups at various positions that can be derivatized sequentially.

Kinase inhibitors are a clinically important family of prescription drugs that belong to the class of so called targeted therapy, for the treatment of cancer and more recently in the immunology area for the treatment of arthritis.
